Carol Bartz was fired today as Yahoo CEO. This shocks no one except for those who thought her job was safe when the board of directors gave her an endorsement a short time ago.
That same board decided that today was a good day to let her go. So much for the endorsement.
Did she deserve to go? I’m in no position to give an opinion. I do have one on Jerry Yang who didn’t sell Yahoo to Microsoft a few years ago for $33 a share or $47.5 billion….dude!
